I heard that constipation normally occur during pregnancy, Thank God that I still don't have that symptom!But does it mean that my baby is unable to absorb the nutrients? those prenatal vitamin will often cause constipation? will it affect the growth of my baby?? A. It can occur at any time during pregnancy. Some people don't ever have problems with it, though. It's not necessarily the prenatal, but the effects of the growing uterus on the digestive tract.

A. Colace, that is what my doctor prescribed me, it was a life saver if you have gone a week or more without pooping use fleet enema but make sure you leave it in as long as you can at the very least 2 mins otherwise it doesnt work and it is not something you want to do in vain. you can use another if you really need but only use it if you will start taking colace (or another stool softener) b/c its not good to do often and the colace will keep you from getting backed up.

What to do about hemorrhoids during pregnancy?
Q. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I have noticed that I have 2 little hemorrhoids, they don't hurt or bleed. But I hate them, I developed them during pregnancy due to constipation. I am so worried I want to get rid of them so bad! Is there any medicine i can use to get rid of them? Help!
A. You can use Preparation H cream, or use Tucks pads. Both of these are over-the-counter and safe to use during pregnancy. If these don't help, ask your provider at your next appointment, and they can give you a prescription for something stronger.
