We recently got a "One Step Pregnancy Test" from CVS and the test started to show positive and then went to negative. A. at this point, purchase the cheaper one because you will likely have enough HCG in your system at 7 weeks for the cheapest, least sensitive test to work. If you were testing at 4 weeks, I would recommend First response (not the digital one).

A. Pregnant women make the hormone hCG. The test checks for hCG. If you have it in your system, you're preggo. If you don't, you're probably not.
