Are the wives tales of genders true? The swinging of the ring and all that stuff?
Q. I did a quiz online about wives tales to find out the gender of my baby. It said it was a boy. Is it right? Did you find out that they all turned out wrong and had the opposite?
A. The only old wives tale that hasn't failed me is where you compare your body before and during pregnancy. If you only get big in the tummy, it's a boy. If your whole body spreads, it's a girl. In other words, if you basically look the same except for the baby tummy, it's a boy. If you got fat, it's a girl. Pretty accurate for me so far.
How do I lose the baby weight?
Q. Going to give birth soon, and eager to get started. I only gained 20 lbs during my pregnancy, but I was overweight to begin with. Any tips from mom's who have been there?
