Q. I am only 5 weeks pregnant. I am over weight and have a belly on my own. My boobs have always been bigger then my stomach. I am maintaining my weight but for some reason my stomach is bigger and now is bulging out making it bigger then my boobs. Is this due to pregnancy? Due to not having a flat stomach i have no idea what should or shouldn't be. If it is due to pregnancy why?
Thank you!
Thank you!
A. No, its not possible. Some people get bloated the first few weeks and that could be the reason you feel like that. Sometimes you make yourself believe that your showing when your not. I wasn't the skinniest girl ever and with my baby (first) I didn't really show till 5 months which was around 20 weeks.
All that high-speed development and your baby is only 2 millimeters longabout the size of a sesame seed (check one out next time you're chowing down on a bagelyou won't believe how tiny it is!)
If you go to Babycenter.com Babyzone.com Babygaga.com (you can get weekly updates on Facebook) Thebump.com http://3dpregnancy.parentsconnect.com/calendar/5-weeks-pregnant.html and just google up like "5 weeks pregnant" and so on and you'll find lots of websites that will tell you on you baby's development and you and your body etc. Good luck on your pregnancy!

Interactive Pregnancy Calendar - Do you know a good Weekly Pregnancy Calendar that I can use?
Q.
A. I was looking for the same thing myself -- a pregnancy calendar by week -- so I did a search and came up with a program called PregnanSee. It's a weekly video pregnancy calendar that lets you visualize your stage of pregnancy right on your PC desktop.
It's quite unique by the looks of it and has an interesting design that I liked. There's also an example demo for Week 23/24 on the site that you should watch -- Being the first time I found it quite fascinating.
Hope this helps. Take care and all the best :]

What is a good way to make your self into labor!?
Q. I am now 38 weeks and been having contractions for the last week but I havent dialated at all and my water has not broke and I am in pain and my dr. said he will induce me in three more days how can I make it go faster?
A. walking is the best and sex,Nipple stimulation - Stimulating the nipples triggers the production of natural oxytocin. Oxytocin contracts the uterus.
Accupressure - Accupressure may be helpful in inducing labor. Some pressure points you can try are the roof of your mouth, the webbing of your fingers between your pointer finger and thumb, and above the ankle about four fingerspaces above is a pressure point.
Stripping the membranes - This can only be done by a health care provider. Your doctor or midwife will seperate the bag of waters from your cervix and this is thought to help encourage labor to start.
Raspberry Leaf Tea - Rasberry leaf tea is not actually known for it's labor inducing properties, but it is believed to be helpful in toning the uterus and helping with labor.
Cinnamin stick tea - Take cinnamin sticks and boil them into a tea and drink. It actually tastes good so even if it doesn't bring on labor it may help you to relax.
Evening primrose oil - Evening primrose oil comes in small capsules similar to vitamin E. It is believed to help soften and ripen the cervix.
Walking - Walking may help to get baby to drop into proper position.
Visualization/relaxation - Relaxation can help with labor induction. Try doing relaxation exercisers. They are also good practice for when labor actually begins.
Pineapple, cumin tea, eggplant parmesan, and spicy foods - are another thing you can try.
Other methods we do not recommend for inducing labor
Castor oil - Castor oil may or may not work for inducing labor. It tastes horrible! It is likely to make you sick and may put your baby at risk for having meconium in the amniotic fluid. We do not recommend castor oil.
Herbs - There are other herbs you can use to induce labor. Without consulting your doctor or midwife we do not recommend the use of herbs.

Its there any retreat, therapy center for pregnant woman?
Q. I'm 7 months pregnant and I feel like I'm going crazy with my hormones.....I get very upset, very sad and all I do is cry 24/7 I fell like this can affect my baby. The doctor ready told me that he is very little for being 7 months that I should not stress myself. So I was interesting in a retreat Center for pregnants or a place that you could ask for help and forget about your personal problems. Specially now during pregnancy, I'm going thru a break up, separation, whatever it is and I know this is not good!
A. There are crisis pregnancy centers. Maybe check on-line for one in your area. Also visit your local library for a wide variety of books on pregnancy. At www.babycenter.com you can sign up for the weekly pregnancy calendar - I found it interesting. It's hard but please try not to be stressed out. You have to take care of yourself so that you can take care of your baby, starting from now. Good luck.
