Q. I had a miscarriage on July 13th my doctor told us that we could start trying again once the bleeding stopped well I got my period on aug 11 and so I would have ovulated last week like around the 22-25 or around there is what my calander said now I am having mild cramping not bad just when I bend or stretch what could this be are these pregnancy signs or is that to eariler or am is that a sign of ovulating please help I really want to have a baby
A. Mild cramping can be an early sign of pregnancy. It can also be a sign of ovulation. So in your case it really could be either one.
if you have sex on your fertile days what are your chances of concieving?
Q. the first day of my period was august 19th 2007 i tried an ovulation calander and it said my most fertile days were august 30th through sept. 2nd and i ovulated on the 3rd I had sex on aug. 31st and sept. 2nd and 3rd are these days correct? if so what are my chances that i concieved?
A. Your chances are very good! I also chart and had intercourse the day before and day of ovulation. I had a positive pregnancy test two days before my period was even due. (Using first response!) Be optimistic, there's certainly a great chance that you could be pregnant!
-One thing that really helped me pinpoint my ovulation date was charting BBT (basil body temperature). Have you tried that yet? I bought one for about $8 from Wal-mart...(you could get them from any pharmacy I'm sure!) You take your temperature every morning from the beginning of your cycle at the same time each day. Your temperature will spike right after ovulation. This will take the guess work out of knowing the exact date of ovulation and how likely that you pinpointed the right day.
~Hope this helps and you are pregnant real soon! :o)

How to know the sex without an ultrasound?
Q. I know this is probably not possible.
Is there anyway you can tell what your having before you actually get an ultrasound?
Like maybe signs or anything, Online test even if its just for fun?
I think im having a boy, I want a girl and everyone else thinks im having a girl. I will be finding out in a few weeks for sure :)
Please no rude or disgusting comments, Im not looking for that and you will be reported.

A. Hey, congrats on being pregnant.
My mum sent me this random chinese calander for pregnancy and telling the sex.
She worked out all her kids on it and it was correct for all of us. And she said that I was having a boy (the calander said so too) and then on the ultrasound it was confirmed that Im having a boy :D
Due this Sunday eeekkk!!

Is a 40 week full term pregnancy 9 or 10 months?
Q. I am having an argument with a friend I say 40 weeks is a little over 9 months and she says it is 10 months bc 40 divided by 4 is ten. But isn't a month technically 4 1/2 weeks so it would equal 9 months?
Please help our dispute. Thanks!

A. It really depends on what you are using as a month. I always say that pregnancy is ten months because pregnancy months are Lunar months (exactly 28 days, or 4 weeks). However, that is really just a technicality. It is how you are 'supposed' to count pregnancy, but Lunar months are not calander months. So it just depends on what standard you want to use. I find it easier to use Lunar months because a lot of pregnancy material is based on Lunar months. But either way is technically accurate.
