A. I don't think its very normal. It hasn't happened to my wife at all and she is 30 weeks pregnant. I would go for a second opinion. This website has information but says you should contact your health care practioner straight away although it can happen some times. Read it please and be careful.
How can you tell the difference between a period and vaginal bleeding during a pregnancy?
Q. My and my partner are TTC... And I am wondering what the difference is? I have read that you can have vaginal bleeding during a pregnancy that can resemble a period. Does it still come with the cramping and so forth? Or is it just bleeding with no pain?

A. Some women do have some spotting and cramping during pregnancy, but having real bleeding is not exactly normal and it may indicate a problem if you are indeed pregnant. I think many of women who are desperate to conceive (myself included) don't want to give up hope for a bfp so they think that maybe they are having implantation bleeding or are bleeding for some other reason when it's really just their period.
The only real way to tell the difference is to talk to your doctor and take a pregnancy test.

Q. Have your or someone you know experienced bleeding during pregnancy?? If so was it like a period?? I have had some weird bleeding that's not the same amount of blood as my usual periods are.. It's a good bit less and its not continuous it will completely stop for a day. I also have had no cramps at all with the bleeding and I always get cramps during my period bad ones too. I took a couple test both negative. Me and hubby would love a baby I hope this weird bleeding is nothing bad.

What is implantation bleeding during pregnancy?
Q. Hey I just want an explanation on what implantation bleeding is during pregnancy. Please don't say it all technical-like. I want it dumbed down so I can understand it perfectly :)
A. When the egg buries itself in the uterus it can cause you to bleed. It is usually light pink/brown and happens a weeks to a few days before you are supposed to get your period. It can last from hrs-a few days. It doesn't happen to all women though
