I am a "new" Catholic (just completing RCIA) and I am really struggling with this specific issue. At what point does "law" give way to "grace"? I shall be quizzing my parish priest on this question when I see him.
The rapist has not been excommunicated, since the sin he allegedly committed is venal and not mortal.
I have a nine-year-old daughter myself and I know what I would do if, God forbid, I found myself in this situation.

This is where we converts have the edge - we are learning as adults, not being instructed from above as kids. You do the study - I'm already well into mine. Practically everything you say is factually wrong.
Life starts at the moment of conception and it is sacred. Only God can take it away. Read your Catechism! You break the rules, you're out. You'd expect that from any club so why not the Church?

Just for kicks. I have tried a test, it was negative a week ago. I plan to try again today.

A. I agree with the first poster. Those are fun to take after you've found out you are pregnant, or if you just like that sort of thing, but to depend on one or all of those to tell you if you are pregnant is not wise at all.
If you have had unprotected sex in the last month at all then the possibility is there, low or not.The best thing to do to find out is take a test, maybe a few and/or see your doctor.
If you are a week late, your chances of getting an inaccurate result are very slim, slimmer than the chance of misdiagnosing yourself as pregnant on of thems preggie quizes.

why am i having pregnancy symptoms when my blood work came back neg?
Q. for the last three weeks my nipples have been really sore. been cramping. the smell of food makes my stomach hurt. it hurts to have sex. i took a quiz and it said that i was 65% possible to be pregnant. i had blood work done to see if i was pregnant but it came back negative
A. Yep, I have to agree with almost everyone, those symptoms could be a host of other things hon, and blood work is usually spot on and very accurate!! I would say that you more than likely aren't and you probably feel pregnant because you are over thinking it, happens to a lot of women, they want to be pregnant so much that they actually make themselves feel symptoms that are really nothing more than wishful thinking!!!! If you are TTC.....I send you lots of baby dust and hope you get your BFP soon!!! :)
Additional note, I'm currently pregnant for number four and I've never had painful sex as a symptom of early pregnancy......only gets uncomfortable when your belly gets big and in the way lol.....but everyone is different, just sayin' :)

Q. I missed it when it cam on in January and haven't been able to find it again on lifetime. I want to watch it online but all the sites I find you have to fill out surveys, quizzes, or download something! Don't want to do that. I just want to watch the movie!! LOL
