Q. I'm doing some research for a story I'm working on, and just wanted to know around what month smaller women start showing? As well, if there is anything else I should keep in mind that might only affect smaller women during their pregnancy? Any other information that pops to mind would be GREAT!
Thanks!
Thanks!
A. If it's the first pregnancy, most women, big or small, usually won't show until their 6th month.
I've known 90lb women to have 10lb babies, vaginally. It really all depends on how far your pelvic bones can separate to allow the head to pass.

What are the causes for certain pregnancy symptoms?
Q. For examples what causes pregnant women to vomit, smell things better, sleep more, and etc. If you know what causes any type of pregnancy symptoms, please give information. Thanks for answers.
A. Hormonal imbalances.
What is the earliest in my pregnancy I can get a paternity test?
Q. My ex boyfriend and I had sex, obviously, and I got pregnant. We went through a violent break up and I took a pregnancy test a week after I missed my period. I'm pregnant. When I tried to tell him he denied it and said I could "have fun proving it was his."
I was just wondering whats the earliest I could get a paternity test. It will have to be court mandated because the guy is a douche bag but whatever.
Thanks.

A. Prenatal paternity testing is available. It is generally believed that this type of testing can be performed between the 10th and 21st week of pregnancy.
This type of testing requires either a CVS (Chronic Villis Sampling) between 10-12 weeks or an Amniocentesis between 12-21 weeks. Both of these procedures have risks associated with the pregnancy. For specific information on these risks I would recommend discussing with your OB/Gyn.

Where can i get information online on what to expect while expecting?
Q. This is my first pregnancy and i have lots of questions as to what is normal to feel or not to feel. I usually ask my mom and sister and closest friends but i always get different answers. I understand that every single pregnancy is different so i give up on asking, i'd rather look for myself.
