what are uncommon symptoms of extremely early pregnancy?

Q. well i don't have any symptoms but i like hearing from others what they felt, and strange things that ended up being associated with pregnancy. pains, emotions, rashes, anything out of the ordinary for you please feel free to share in detail if your comfortable with it... how early did you feel it and how long did it last?

A. The ONLY symptom I had was extreme fatigue. My mother had actually aske dme if I maybe had mono. I just slept all the time, but I never thought I was preggo. I just took the test because I was a little late and I wanted to "ease my mind".

How soon can an ectopic pregnancy be detected with a specialized sonogram?
Q. Is waiting six weeks after the first day of your last period best, or is taking a risk to wait if there are already signs? I am barely at 30 days, but testing negative for pregnancy with pains in abdomen/ lower back. Doctor wants a sono of the pelvic area. I am waiting for my husband's insurance to kick in too.

A. This seems faster than the special sonogram.
Internet information said a pregnancy test should show it.

The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced by the placenta, appears in the blood and urine as early as 10 days after conception, and its levels double every 2 days for the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. If hCG levels are lower than expected for your stage of pregnancy, doctors are one step closer to diagnosing ectopic pregnancy.

I once had Salpingitis, the Dr`s thought it might be a tubal pregnancy. My pain was lower (R) back(my affected side).......awful!

How do I know if these cramps are normal?
Q. I am 6 weeks pregnant and yesterday and today have been having a dull ache in my abdomen on the right hand side in line with my belly button. It comes and goes but how do I know if its just pregnancy pains or if it's a sign something might be going wrong?

A. If the pain increases and you begin bleeding you need to go to the ER or see your doctor asap. Those two things mean you could be having a miscarriage. When I had a miscarriage in April, I had cramps they weren't horrible but it was hard to fall asleep with them, and the next day I started bleeding like a period. So I went to the ER and they confirmed it was a miscarriage.
If the cramps increase and are continuous see your doctor, but if they are aches that come and go, like you said, it's most likely just stretching of the uterus, which will continue throughout the rest of the pregnancy.
good luck

Is it normal for a pregnant woman's lower back to hurt right after intercourse?
Q. My wife is about 16 weeks pregnant and doing fine so far. We have sexual intercourse often (4-6 times a week), and for the past few weeks or so, her lower back is really sore for a couple hours afterwards. We don't 'hold back' in our intercourse, and having one orgasm per is par for her.

Is this something to be alarmed about, or just normal pregnancy pains?

Thanks.

A. I think it is normal-I experienced the same thing with both of my pregnancies with no bad effects to me or the baby. Keep having fun!
