A. My sources say August 1st or 2nd. See conception doesn't take place until about 2 weeks after your last period began. Make sense? So your last period began around July 17th or18th, right? That is why your date of conception is around August 1st-2nd. It is not an exact science but that is as close as it gets, everyone is different. My doc gave me a wheel that calculates it. Congratulations!
If you tested positive for pregnacy on Monday (May 9, 2010), when would the baby be due?
Q. im not sure i understand ur question, but april 5th?
yay thanks a million! :)
omg now im soo confused which one of u guys is correct??? lol

A. When was the first day of your last period?
Due dates are determined from the first day of your last period
Your due date would be 01/12/2011
You understood me :)
You're welcome and congrats

And my pregnancy wheel
Edit: Give or take the 3 days difference isn't much - some online calculators are slightly different which is why I always go by my pregnancy wheel

Why Is The Dr.'s Due Date Estimate Different Than All Of The Internet Calculators?
Q. Last year when I found out I was pregnant I went online to find out my due date with my LMP on April 2, 2006. Every calculator online I tried came up with a Due Date of January 7th 2007, however when I went in to see my Dr. he pulled out a paper wheel and he told me January 10th. I hadn't had any ultrasound yet. Well my baby was born on the 10th so I am wondering what that paper wheel is and how I can determine my Due Date of future pregnancies, any help would be great :)
A. The paper wheel you are referring to is used to determine how far along you are and when your due date will be approx. the doctor gives you three weeks either way with it. It goes by the month and first day of your first menstrual cycle then they count to nine months to the date of your first day. And again the tells the doctor when you are due approx. It is up to each womans body whenever you are going to deliver. There is a chemical in the brain that is released whenever it is time to have the baby and it sends your body into contractions. Hope it helps. There is no exact science and no real way to determine 100%.
Can someone help figure out how far along I am??
Q. Okay, my last period started Jan 6 2007, my cycles vary between 34-36 days apart. I took a pregnancy test on Feb 9th 2007, and it came out positive. Can someone tell me how far along I am, and when conception happened? This whole thing is soo confusing to me. Today is Mar 5. And when can I start to get excited? The last baby I miscarried, so I'm scared. I don't have any children yet, 25 years old. Thanks for all your help :)
A. Based on pregnancy.org your due date is October 21,2007 (that's my brother's bday) and you conceived on (or around) January 27th. You are 7wks 2 days pregnant. Your weeks start on Saturdays.
Now based on BabyMed.com your baby will be due on October 19, 2007. And you conceived on or around the 27th as well. But is says you are 7wks 3 days pregnant and your weeks start on Fridays. I used the calculator and put in your LMP and used 35 days as you cycle time for both sites. The doctor can do a blood quantitative test and tell you exactly how far you are. Or do an ultrasound and judge it based on the measurements of your baby. JUST BE SURE TO NOT USE THE TEXTBOOK DOCTOR'S WHEEL OR WEBSITES THAT DON'T LET YOU INPUT YOUR CYCLE LENGTH...THEY ARE BASED UPON A 28 DAY CYCLE.
Don't let the last miscarry scare you too much (I know, that's hard to try and do) but I miscarried last May , very early in the pregnancy and here I am now 18 wks pregnant again (conceived again in November) with a healthy baby.
Congratulations and I wish you all the best with this pregnancy.
