Q. I have been menstruating for over 5 five weeks now and I have abdominal pain along with severe gas pain. I can not figure out for the life of me what is the problem. I am 34 years old and have 3 kids. I have never taken birth control. I have used the morning after pill twice in the last 6 months and sex is painful.
A. I agree that seeing your physician is your best bet. If you are not covered under health insurance you could go to your nearest public health and be seen there for free. Other than that there is a whole list that could be the possible problem.
Constipation
Gas pains
IBS irital bowel syndrome
Yeast infection
Lactose intolerance
PID pelvic inflammatory disease
Candidasis
Cervicitis
Dyspareunia
Ectopic pregnancy
Endometriosis
Giardiasis
Interstitial cystitis
Prolapsed uterus/bladder
Urethritis
Vaginitis
Vulvodynia
Those are all found under WEBMD symptoms checker. But to be certain of what the problem is a health check up is most reliable. I hope this gives you options.

I have several symptoms of pregnancy, but i just started taking birth control.could the symptoms be from that?
Q. i have nausea and breast tenderness, a major increase in appetite. I am extremely emotional and moody and i never use to be like that. I have taken birth control for a while, but got off of it. i just recently got back on. i was wondering if birth control had anything to do with the symptoms or if more than likely i was pregnant. Please help!
A. I'm not a doctor so I don't give medical advice. For medical questions I usually go to WebMD http://www.webMD.com they have a symptom checker on the right hand side of the main page or the Mayo Clinic help site http://www.mayoclinic.com/ they have on-line specialists to answer medical questions. Thanks :-)
What could be wrong with me?
Q. I have missed 2 periods, but I'm not regular anyway. I have extreme stomach and abdominal pains as well as dizziness and fatigue. I am getting a pregnancy test as soon as I can get the money and I'm going to see a doctor in July. I have tried the symptom checker on webmd but it was not helpful. Do you have any idea whats wrong with me?
I have an appointment for july and I don'tknow if I can find an earlier date anywhere. I'm 17.

A. Sounds very possible that you are pregnant with the missed periods, fatigue and dizziness. Get that pregnancy test fast. Better yet, just go to the doctor or ER. Extreme stomach and abdominal pains can't be good. Good luck!<3
