Q. Everywhere says something different. On a pregnancy calender I have it says tommarow will be my second trimester (12 weeks) but I'm really confused as to when it starts. Some people say 12, some say 13 or 14. Why is there conflictions and when does it really start?
A. Week 13 is the start of the second trimester, but different sources tell you different things because the gestation does not divide evenly into three segments, and the cutoff is somewhat arbitrary.
Why is My Yahoo Pregnancy Calender worthless and does not work?

A. If she's 14 weeks pregnant, that means the baby is actually 12 weeks old. If you had sex with her 11 weeks ago and she ovulated a couple days later, or if it took a few days for the egg to implant, then yes you could be the father. If you're doubting it though, you should definetly get a DNA test done when the baby is born.
How long should I wait to take a pregnancy test?
Q. I had sex on the 19th of june (thats when my calender said I was ovulating). My next period is suppose to start on the third of july, should wait til the day of my period to take a test? Or wait longer? Thanks guys!
A. Take the test if you miss your next period. The best time to take it is with the very first urine in the morning. Your hormones will be higher.
