What is a good website I can visit for my first new pregnancy?

Q. I am ttc, and I am trying to find a good site that has alot of helpful information for my baby and me. There is so many it's hard to choose. I am looking for something that has: charts,checklist,...etc. What and where to get things I will need. So many questions. Please help

A. Check out www.thebump.com I love that website and it has information for ttc, pregnancy, and newborn/children. It has every checklist/ information you could want or think of.. Good Luck and Best Wishes =)

What should I start getting/buying for my baby?
Q. I am 18 weeks pregnant and I know the next 5 months of pregnancy will go fast. I want to know things that I REALLY REALLY need that I should start buying already, and if you know any websites or stores where I can get them cheaper. I am trying to save as much money as I can. Thank you very much everybody!
I'm finding out what I'm having on the 11th of October...I don't know if my baby will let us see what it is...but HOPEFULLY I will find out so I know what color I should get things.
I don't know if I'm having a baby shower. I don't have a bunch of friends and when I talked about having a baby shower with my partner and my brother, they would kind of smile like they are getting something prepared...so I'm thinking it will be a surprise they're getting ready for me. :) We'll see...

A. 18 weeks is really soon. Are you going to find out the sex? Will you be getting a baby shower? Think about those first before shopping. Basic things you need are just diapers, wipes, bottles, baby wash, baby hooded towel, bathtub, onesies, sleepers... things of that nature that you will need daily. You don't need lotion or any of that other crap that's just been invented. Baby stuff at Walmart or Target is always cheap and you can find coupons or sales. If you need a checklist, you can check www.babycenter.com

What can make your period late other than pregancy?
Q. Yeah, I dont wanna hear about pregnancy. I just wanna know WHAT else will make your period late. Name everything, and if you can, describe?

Thanks :)
Im 13, btw. If that has anything to do with it.
Thanks for the answers, they were really helpful lolol. Well I was stressed for 2 months straight and have been losing a LOT of weight, Im assuming from being stressed. Hah, so thats probably why its late :p

A. Reasons for late periods? This is the checklist I go through with my clients:

1. Pregnancy. (Sorry, but I always include that possibility).
2. Recent miscarriage or abortion.
3. Loss/gain of 10+ pounds. Affects hormones.
4. Recently-begun exercise program. Affects hormones.
5. Illness. From common colds to ovarian cysts to adrenal disorders, these can affect hormones. Even something like a bladder infection can do this.
6. Medications. Especially birth control medications, steroids, narcotics, alcohol, and some phenothiazines.
7. STDs.
8. Stress. Even everyday stress can affect the adrenal glands, which then affect your hormones.
9. Age. Some girls take up to 3 years after menarche (first period) to become regular. Some women never become regular at all.

Your menstrual cycle is a process in which your brain and your ovaries send hormonal messages back and forth constantly. This is actually a delicate balance in some girls and is easily upset.

How early can milk be produced in (2nd) pregnancy?
Q. I'm not even sure if I am pregnant yet, so I have been running through checklists of possible symptoms. So I checked to see if my breasts were sore and I squeezed what looked like a drop of milk out of both of them. This would be my second pregnancy if infact I am. I took a test this morning and it was negative, but my dates could be off due to irregular cycles. My cycles used to be really regular (29 or 30 days every time) but of course as soon as we started trying for baby #2 they started ranging from 30 to 43 days in a cycle. Right now I am on day 35 but I don't know if I can trust a negative at this point. I simply hate the waiting game so if there are any experienced Moms out there with advice or information for me I'd appreciate the help.

A. it wouldn't be milk it would be colustrum and yes in fact hat can happen it can happen in woman who aren't pregnant too if they have been pregnnat before it is easier for them to produce it especially when their hormones are out of wack. this is my first pregnancy and i started leaking at about 5 months
