Q. I took a pregnancy test at planned parenthhood and it was negative. And I am not all that stressed, but my period is still late! Im not sure what else could be causing this. There hasn't been any changes in my diet or anything either. HELP.
I am 17 years old and my period comes every 28 days for the last several months. Thats why it's weird that out of no where it is late. I know it isn't normal.

A. This depends how old you are. The length of time between your periods can vary if you are either quite young or towards the end of your child-bearing years. If you are very regular, then you know you are late. Some medications can interfere with your cycle, some medical conditions, if you go too thin then your periods will stop as you will not have enough body fat to produce a baby.
Have a look at on-line symptoms checker websites if you have any other symptoms.

Reposting my question with more information?
Q. I am having a cramping pain on my left side by my ribs. It feels like pressure and aching. I know things are growing, but I always worry. I am still having my pregnancy symptoms. I am not bleeding at all. I an just worried about what's going on. It feels like I pulled something or that I am having cramping. It just started today earlier. I am not sure if it is due to sitting in the car for 3 hours, maybe it is. Roadtrip day today.
Experience and support is needed.
Thank you!

A. Here's the thing:
Your header for your Q is
"Re-posting my Q with more info"...
Which automatically threw it over to Yahoo Answers category, because the system assumed that your Q was re: Q & A's at Y!A.com.
But this just isn't the category for your serious and important Q re: your health. If you want to receive a genuine and serious answer for your Q then, unfortunately, you'll have to re-post this and make sure to categorize it in the Women's Health or Pregnancy categories. The contribs in those categories are the experts when it comes to symptoms as you have detailed in your Q.
You will either receive no answers, or if you do, they will be something like:
"..Huh"..? if you post Women's Health Q's in the Yahoo Products/Y!A.com category.
btw;
If you go to http://www.webmd.com, that is an excellent site for troubleshooting health problems. They have a symptom checker that you can type in your symptoms and fine-tune your Q.
http://symptoms.webmd.com/#./introView
or
http://www.livestrong.com may also be helpful for you.
But (as far as posting at Y!A.com), re-posting this in the proper category is necessary. Try to include key words (such as "Pregnancy Symptoms and pain" ), so that it is obvious what kind of Q you are asking.
Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

how soon can a ultrasound pick up pregnancy?
Q. i had a ultra sound yesterday to check for cysts ect and im having pregnancy symptoms yet they couldnldnt see anything. conception would have only been 1 week ago so would they have been able to see anything after only a week?
A. Go to WebMD.com and they have a symptom checker. You just type in the symptoms you are having, and it comes out with some possibilities.
They usually don't recommend an ultrasound until at least 10 weeks because at most instances, they can detect a heartbeat from the fetus at that time, sometimes not.
Also, go to a pregnancy website and it shows you how everything develops after conception.
Here is a website to try:

This one is very informative...shows pictures!
But also do the WebMD.com symptom checker.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Light bleeding a couple of days before period?
Q. My period is due on Friday-Saturday, and I noticed yesterday that I was experiencing some light bleeding. I am little concerned because I never saw that before. Pregnancy is not a possibility, so what else could it be?
A. It could be simple spotting. I'm not a professional but I've had it before. I'm not a mother and have never been pregnant... as far as I know. lol. Occasional spotting happens. I would suggest you check out webmd.com and go to the symptom checker... follow the directions and it'll give you some ideas as to what could be going on. possibly ask a doctor? I honestly think it's something normal caused by stress, change in sexual intercourse, or something along those lines. If it continues, I would strongly suggest you see a doctor about it. hope this helps.
