Q. I knew it was coming and here it is. Woke up today like I was 14 again. My usual skin care doesn't seem to be able to fight the pimples. Any suggestions? How long will it last?

A. Mine went away right around 20 weeks. Which was a blessing, since I got married when I was 22 weeks :) It just takes a while for your body to be able to adjust to the hormonal changes happening at a really fast pace. It will get better, and sometimes worse, throughout the pregnancy. I have broken out quite a bit in the last two weeks, at 36-38 weeks. But for the months in between, I had some nice clear skin. Give it time, and just wash with some good soap (I loved the Cetaphil Body Bar) and it will go away eventually.
Does the skin care product contain camphor and menthol safe for pregnancy woman?
Q. I am currently 28 weeks of my pregnancy. I used the lip savers from origin about couple times because of dry lip. However, I found out that this lip savers contains camphor and menthol. It seems like these products are poison but according to the instruction, there is nothing shows pregnancy woman should avoid to use. May anyone told me whether that is a problem?
A. It causes seizures (camphor) in children so it can't be good.
Calling all mothers: what products (bath & body specifically) did you find beneficial during pregnancy?
Q. Are there any specific bath or body products that you, or someone you know who was pregnant that helped during pregnancy- skin care, hair care, teas, ointments, etc.
A. When I was pregnant I used Shea Butter's lotion the one that supposedly prevents stretch marks, I always used it right after I got out of the shower. From what I heard if stretch marks are going to happen there will be nothing you can do to prevent them. All I know is I did not get any, the point is to drink plenty of fluid and use lotion (keeps the skin elastic and hydrated). Good luck and congrats
