I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative but I have all the other symptoms....what should I do? ?
Q. I have taken a bunch of online quizzes that say I am but I don't know what to do? I took a pregnancy test two weeks ago and it was negative should I take one again?

A. Simple answer; Take one at the doctors surgery. Home prego tests aren't always accurate.

A doc will be able to help you find out. Also, if theres symptoms of something, doc will also let you know what it is if it ain't a baby.

Ya know?

Has anyone ever had actual Depression when pregnant?
Q. How did you get through your pregnancy....I just took those online quizzes, it says I may have severe depression..I don't want to take medication but can depression have a nagative effect on the baby
It said I MAY. I was depressed years ago so I kinda know how it feels
I am blessed to be pregnant. I have two wonderful girls, and one on the way.

A. If you are out of your first trimester you can take medication for depression. You really may want to look at that as an option, since PP depression may be worse if you are already experiencing symptoms. I am now on an anti-depressant and I am 14 weeks along. My specialist prescribed it so that I can keep my sanity through this pregnancy and after wards. I am having severe complications because I am pregnant with a Mirena in place. This will also be my 7th child, and a very big surprise to say the least. My 2 youngest sons are only 16 months and 5 months. So he feels it is best if I really stay on my medicine to keep control of my emotions. I can tell you that I feel much better since starting my meds. Stress, which is of course related to depression can have a negative effect on your child and your pregnancy.

any moms to be go to college the actual campus not online?
Q. how far along were you? How did it work for you? Was your due date in the middle of finals week? how did your instructor react? if your due date was during finals did your instructor let you take them early or later? what did you do?

A. My first 2 babies were born when I was a college student. My oldest was born the end of May and my semester was over the end of April. She was born 9 days past her due date, though. So, I was pretty far into my pregnancy during finals, but was scheduled to be done about 3 weeks before my due date. My second baby was due the day before my semester started. He came 11 days past his due date. I started the semester about as pregnant as you could get. I went in a spoke with my professors about options since I was obviously going to have to miss some classes. They were all willing to discuss the problem, but none was going to give special consideration for any missed tests or quizzes. I had the syllabus for each class and read ahead. I missed some assignments and quizzes plus 1 test. I got notes from classmates. When my son was 8 days old I went back to classes and he accompanied me when I was going to lecture. I was nursing so we sat in the back of the room. I took notes while he slept or nursed. He stayed with the lady who watched my daughter when I had labs (I have a science minor) and when he got older. If you are going to a regular university you won't likely get much in the way of sympathy if you miss an exam. If it is more like a community college or a trade program you may be able to get some leeway. Due dates are funny things. They are only best guess estimates of when your baby will arrive. Most full-term babies arrive some time 2 weeks before to 2 weeks after a due date. Having a baby while in college is do-able, but being due in the middle of finals week may be pushing it a bit. I've never known any college professor to allow early exams and late exams probably aren't possible either since grades have to be turned in rather soon after the semester ends. I think if I was due during finals weeks I'd probably take a semester off or see if there are on-line classes. My children were born before on-line classes were available, but it would have been quite convenient if they had been.
