Q. I am about to start my first round of clomid and i am just wondering if there are any side effects or anything. And also, i was wondering if it REALLY does work or what kinds of experiences any of you have had with it. i am kind of nervous...excited nervous! Thanks!
A. I just ended my 5th round of clomid. so the first thing I am goning to tell you is even if you dont ovulate the first months you are on it, dont worry and continue it out. this month was the first month that I ovulated on it.
the only main side effects are abdominal cramping, mood swings, breast tenderness, nausea and vomitting, and little cervical mucus. I personally did not have any symptoms. to help with some take it with food and that might help with the nausea/vomitting.
so far I can say it does work! I at least ovulated on it. not sure if it will end in pregnancy (my partner has abnormal sperm so lower chance for me) but I have heard so many success stories!! and again if it doesnt work its not the end of the story there is more powerful things you can be on to help ovulate!
everything will would out just fine, there are some websites that you can google search that will tell you when you should expect to ovulate and i have found that really helpful! type clomid ovulation calculator!
also make sure to use OPK's that really helps and will tell you if you ovulate but just make sure that you dont test too early with them because it can give you a false result. if you google search the calculater it will also tell you when to start testing! another thing with that is it will tell you like a 5-6 day range of when you may ovulate, and if on the first few days there is nothing keep peeing cuz I didnt ovulate til the last day I shoudl have (2 positives on OPK the last day and the day after) so good luck and LOTS of baby dust to ya!!!

can i know for certain the date i got pregnant?
Q. i have just google the due date calculater and only to find out i maybe 4weeks pregnant, could it be possible that i also know the exact date i got this pregnancy.
A. I guess it's possible, but you'll never really know. Unless of course you rarely have sex.
how soon after a miscarriage can I conceive again safely?
Q. I was 6 weeks along.
A. I am also sorry for your loss if you had one. I had a miscarrige a week ago with triplets. Anyway, If you just had a miscarriage and you're trying to concieve again, the best thing to do is not to go and use any calulators. Calculators only give estimates. You should go and buy a Ovulation test kit. Unlike an online calculator or a calender, a Ovulation test kit can detect Ovulation just like a pregnancy test detects a pregnancy.
The reason the calender or calculator won't work is because after you have a miscarriage the time it takes for horomones to go back to normal differ's from person to person. My friend had a miscarriage and got pregnant again within the same month, others take 2 months to show a period. It's best to wait 2 months
The Ovulation test kit would be the best thing to use, but if you must use a calender or calculater, wait until your next period shows. Your period won't be the same after the miscarrige, your body has it's own agenda especailly when something like this happens. I hope you concieve again. Annesi
