Q. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and ive been having extreme lower back pain right above my hip near my spine. Is there any one that has any suggestions on how i could relive the agonizing pain. I walk and exercise and i thought that being fit was supposed to relive pregnancy pains. What can i do?
A. I'm 35 weeks also and uHH :( same pain!
I get my husband to massage the area and it relaxes it for a while. When he's not around I use a hot water bottle. Helps but doesn't go away completely.. These last few weeks are longer than ever when your suffering :(

How did your first labor pain feel?
Q. Im 37 weeks pregnant. First pregnancy.
I keep getting sharp pains in my cervical/vaginal area. If I get up to walk they stop me in my tracks.
No back pain or abdominal pain just sharp pains down low.
Ive been to labor and delivery a few times throughout my pregnancy & Id rather not go if this is normal pregnancy pain. Advice? Stories?

A. WHEW... this took me back lol
Those pains are the baby moving around..mostly his head hitting your cervix and it hurts like something fierce..I remember driving and my baby doing that and I had to pull over!!
I dont blame you for not going to L&D its like..if your not dieing from pain then your an inconvenince to them.. and they can be so rude!!
I think you got a little more ways to go chick before that baby comes! Best of luck to you..and just let me say that its not as bad as everyone says.. I was so terrified when I had my baby that my blood pressure was 180/110 and I was crying.. but nothing was as bad as I thought.. people will say things to scare you or tell you "You just wait..you dont know anything about pain yet..oh you aint seen nothing yet!" Dont listen to them.. your going to be fine and your in good hands.. just remember to relax and breath..
oh and everyone told me to walk, have sex.. mess with my nipples.. Im telling you.. my house was the "playboy mansion" of sex up in here the last few weeks of my pregnancy and nothing ever helped.. that baby comes when the baby is ready ... awful i know..

what are uncommon symptoms of extremely early pregnancy?
Q. well i don't have any symptoms but i like hearing from others what they felt, and strange things that ended up being associated with pregnancy. pains, emotions, rashes, anything out of the ordinary for you please feel free to share in detail if your comfortable with it... how early did you feel it and how long did it last?
A. The ONLY symptom I had was extreme fatigue. My mother had actually aske dme if I maybe had mono. I just slept all the time, but I never thought I was preggo. I just took the test because I was a little late and I wanted to "ease my mind".
How soon can an ectopic pregnancy be detected with a specialized sonogram?
Q. Is waiting six weeks after the first day of your last period best, or is taking a risk to wait if there are already signs? I am barely at 30 days, but testing negative for pregnancy with pains in abdomen/ lower back. Doctor wants a sono of the pelvic area. I am waiting for my husband's insurance to kick in too.
A. This seems faster than the special sonogram.
Internet information said a pregnancy test should show it.
The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced by the placenta, appears in the blood and urine as early as 10 days after conception, and its levels double every 2 days for the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. If hCG levels are lower than expected for your stage of pregnancy, doctors are one step closer to diagnosing ectopic pregnancy.
I once had Salpingitis, the Dr`s thought it might be a tubal pregnancy. My pain was lower (R) back(my affected side).......awful!
