How did you prepare during your last 10 weeks of pregnancy?

Q. What did you do during your last 10 weeks of pregnancy to prepare for you little one? I am trying to keep busy to make the time go by a little faster. Any tips on things you did or wished you did??

A. So far during these last 10 weeks i've had my baby shower, washed all the clothes and blankets, rearranged the babys clothes in the dresser like a dozen times, set up its own section in the bathroom of body wash, baby lotion, baby powder, qtips, etc. Gotten the diaper bag ready with al the necessities and picked out two take home outfits to choose from. Got my hospital bag ready. And now im just cleaning and waiting! In the beginning of my 10 weeks it seemed to drag but now it seems to be coming so fast. Good luck!!

How far along am I really in my pregnancy?
Q. I was told by my doctor that my baby is measuring 9 weeks 4 days and my due date is the end of September. However most weekly pregnancy calendars say that I'm in my 10th week of pregnancy. Am I 9 weeks along or 10 weeks along?

A. you,re obsessing about this. don,t worry, all pregnant moms do this. my wife argued with the doc for months about when the baby was due. she won, she had the baby. so will you.

At what point during pregnancy did you get really nauseas?
Q. I have been a bit nauseas, but I just hit week 10 and I've been nauseas NON stop. Even when I'm sleeping. Is this normal?

A. by week 10 it was slowing down a little, gone by week 13 and now i am 36 weeks and get it once in a while again.

How many days before your missed period did you have pregnancy symptoms?
Q. Did anyone get pregnancy symptoms 10 days before you missed your period? Sore boobs and mild nausea?

A. Julie:
Highly unlikely that you would have any pregnancy symptoms 10 days prior to your period due date. If you are ovulating late in your cycle there is a possibility that your hormonal shift is making you a little nauseous.

Once you ovulate - it takes the sperm up to 5 days to find the egg and fertilize it. Them it takes 10 days for the egg to implant into your uterus. Once the egg is fertilized your hormone levels begin to surge (which is usually around the day you should get your period) this is also when you can take a home pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. Tender breast usually appear around week 5 of your pregnancy and morning sickness usually kicks in around week 6 when your hormones are really surging.

Good luck
Daisy
