A. Nope, not for me. I was having three girls if it was right. My first child said girl (it was right), my second child said girl (it was wrong), and my third child said girl (it was wrong). I have a daughter and a son and one on the way. So I wouldn't count on that as an accurate predictor.
How to understand gestation time versus weeks pregnant?
Q. When I went in for the ultrasound last week, the doctor told me that based on the size of the embryo I was 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Does this mean that the embryo was 6 weeks 5 days or that I am 8 weeks 5 days pregnant? I know there is a 2 week difference between the day of the last period to the day that the egg is fertilized. Because I didn't know when my last period was, they were using this as the determining factor. I don't have the pelvic exam for another few weeks and I'm dying to be able to create a week by week pregnancy calendar.
A. It means that you are pregnant 6 weeks and 5 days. It still coincides with your doctor's calculations from the first day of your last menstrual period. Using the ultrasound calculation, you can take away 2 weeks and figured out when conception was. Not every cycle is exactly the same, so it isn't completely dependent on when your last period was. Even if you knew when your last period was to the "T," the ultrasound could show your child at being a few days different developmentally wise.
How far along will I be in June?
Q. I am 6 weeks pregnant now. My due date is Oct. 28th. I am trying to figure this out with my pregnancy calendar but its a little confusing. Will I be 5 or 6 months pregnant by June 7th? Thanks!!
When i count from Feb it should be 5 months, but on my calendar it says my sixth lunar month begins when i am 20 weeks at the beginning of June. Which is it?

A. It begins at the beginning of June meaning you will be 5 months and so many days.. each day...6 months completely at the end of the month! P.S I am a month ahead of you I am due September 26.
My sister had a period for 7 weeks STRAIGHT now she is pregnant?
Q. She is trying to figure out how far along she is. The first day of her last period wassunday may 16th then she had is for 7 WEEKS STRAIGHT!!!! Two weeks ago she found out she was pregnant and she wont see a doctor for a few more days... I did the pregnancy calendar for her but that would be right because you normally ovulate 2 weeks after your period. But she was still bleeding 2 weeks after i9t started. Can anyone help us figure this out?
A. This is a very unusual situation. I don't think any of us can really guess how far along she is since she did not have a normal cycle. Check with the doc.
