Why would my boy friend look up pregnancy things online?

Q. Well he was on the computer and I walked up, and her hurriedly closed the thing he was on. He was on my computer so I looked at the search history, and found pregnancy sites, and how to care for children sites. Why is he looking this up? Should we talk about it?

A. There are many reasons but two of the most logical reasons are:
1) He wants to be a father of a family so if this is important to both of you then you should discuss this
2) He is interested in the subject but not quite there into that level of commitment so he's just seeing on what it is like to be a father and ways to take care of children.

Q. I am 6 weeks pregnant and am confused. I joined this pregnancy site to track my pregnancy and it says I conceived July 25th, and my conception date is August 8th. I thought it meant the same thing. My last period was July 26th or 27th so the date it says I conceived doesn't sound right. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks. My last period was different, very light pink spotting, then turned brown, and then regular period. Could I have gotten pregnant in July and still bleed? I heard it's possible.

Q. Husband and I had unprotected sex Monday and before. Should I really wait six weeks to take a pregnancy test. That is what on of those pregnancy sites say to get an accurate result.

A. Not at all, they are completely different things. YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE SEX YOU WANT IN TH MIDDLE, the reason they ask you to wait is so your urine will have enough of the chemical the test reacts to, in it for the test to pick up on it.

Is it normal to start your period a week early with no period symptoms?

Q. i've always started on the same date, i'm not cramping, no loss of appetite like usual, no headache like usual, there's nothing, the bleeding isn't even as heavy as it usually is, it was a brownish red color now it's just dark red but the flow has stayed the same. i've tried looking it up online and all it says is implantation bleeding and takes me to pregnancy sites. what's your opinion on the matter?

Question about the diabetes and iron testing during my first pregnancy?

Q. I went for my diabetes and iron checkup today at my OB. I am now pregnant at 29 weeks with my first baby on the way. Well I had to drink that really sweet concentrate, they changed the flavor to a fruit punch which was not really that bad. I don't know how the orange flavor was because they changed it after people said the fruit punch is better! Anyway I drank the stuff an after an hour had my blood taken. Then the Technician put a drop of my blood in the glucose and iron reader. Within a bit the readers beeped. My glucose level showed 90. The tech said that anything over 140 is bad or too high. Well in that case is my level low then or normal?
Also the tech told me that iron should be at 10.2 level, well mine was at 10.8. Is that fine too? I ask cause some pregnancy sites on Internet are showing that the levels should be 2.0 and over. Anyone know about these readings and my glucose and iron levels?

A. Your levels are normal. Don't worry. I had gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies and just had to monitor my glucose levels. You are right on track with both of them. If you are still concerned schedule an appt with your doctor or just speak to him/her about it the next time you are in the office. I am sure they would be happy to define it more clearly for you.
